Professor Fletcher,

I am a former student of yours, having taken the POL242 course....Just as a possible note of interest (for yourself or incoming students), I have always struggled with statistics and resented having to take the
Research Methods course to obtain a specialist degree in Political Science.
Upon completing the course however, I soon found that what I had learned
informed on almost all of my research. And I had no idea at the time, just
how much my studies would require a knowledge (sometimes cursory, and now
more advanced) of statistical methods. You really cannot get by in any sort
of continuing education without it. I never thought I would be grateful for
POL242!
