Assignment 3 2003: Structural Equation Model

For this assignment please prepare a brief written of your work with AMOS in estimating a Structural Equation Model. As in your previous work, the model should relate to your overall research project and your data should be from a familiar source which you have cleared with the instructor.

The model you estimate must be what Rex Kline calls a recursive hybrid model with structural and measurement components but no feedback loops. In discussing your results be sure to focus on issues of fit as well as the parameter estimates. Regarding the fit of the model to the data, remember to consider alternative models. And in interpreting parameters, keep in mind their substantive meaning as well as the magnitude of direct, indirect and total effects.

As usual, you should submit no more than 5 double-spaced typewritten pages, in addition to the relevant computer output. Be sure though to include enough information so that your results can be replicated.
